I went to an RV suspension guy with the approved request, he called Dexter, fixed my brakes, billed Dexter and I went on my way. There are a lot of businesses that really do not "get" the point that you need at least three basic components to make things work. You need somebody who is good with dealing with people. You need somebody who is good at doing the actual work and doing it on time. You also need somebody who is good at the money side and knowing who to bill for what.
You see a lot of business that get two out of three bases covered. It should be no big surprise that they then have a lot of problems in the third area. Most figure out that you need to be able to do the work. Generally the un-covered base is one of the other two.
None of this is to say you can't have one person who is good at multiple things. The gotcha is that this is rare. Two out of the three is doing pretty darn well. There are a lot of things to be taken care of, they *all* need to get done. Overload is indeed another factor ....
All that said, how in the world you don't understand that it's a Dexter issue ... I haven't a clue.
