Brake adjustment

Just purchased an 1986 25' Sovereign and need to pull the brake drums to inspect a squelling noise. can someone give me some advise on brake adjustment?

I do it the same way I adjust car brakes. Tight until you can't turn the drum, then loosen until they just stop dragging.

Ditto on the procedure....... The sound you are getting may be the adjuster laying in the drum. I had that happen to my camper. The retaining spring had rusted and broke. This allowed the adjuster to fall down, creating a squealing sound. Good luck
