Viair 88p 12v air compressor.

I used my new Viair compressor for the first time today. I am blown away by how good this little thing is. I have had a Cambell Hausfeld compressor for several years that I got fro Home Depot. It cost a hundred bucks 5 or six years ago, and was really only good for using on bike tires, or other small things. Putting an extra 5 lbs of pressure in the truck would take at least a half hour per tire. I hated it.

The Viair put 10 lbs into my trailer tires, from 55 to 65, in about two minutes a tire. I love this thing. Wish the power cord connector was ten feet longer, then it would be perfect, but this dog will hunt. $65. Plus shipping through Amazon.

Thanks for posting. I've been considering a more substantial 12volt compressor, including the 88p.

Can you use jumper cables off the battery to extend the range of the air compressor --battery to jumper cables to compressor, to reach more distant tires?

Yes, I do - jumper cables work well.
