TST Air Spare

Has anyone installed one of these (https://store.airstreamlife.com/coll...ucts/spare-air) to your AS to make it easier to add air to the spare tire?

I find that at times I'm remiss on adding air to my spare because of the effort required to do so. And, of course, having a spare tire that is low on air kind of defeats the purpose of having a spare!

I'm sure someone will buy it. Not me.

$95? More connections?
I have a nice air compressor if I need to air up the spare.

Place the spare tire in the holder valve side down. Checking the pressure and adding air is not that difficult.

I added an extra TPMS to the spare, seems like a smarter idea, easy too

I am old. Just not that old.

For most of a hundy, I will do the less than easy thing and check the air in the spare. Because I am also cheap and need the exercise.

Just like checking the lights, tongue jack, trailer battery and a host of other things before launching.

If I wanted that much easy I would check in to lodging built on the ground.

I got the Wheel Masters Spare Tire Inflation Kit - Under Chassis Mount - Braided Stainless Steel from eTrailer. Less than $60.

https://www.etrailer.com/Tire-Inflat...WM82286-S.html

Total about 20 min install last weekend.

I get it is easy to get down, drop the tire carrier, and check the air. I’ve had airstreams for more than fifteen years. It is so easy, I have never do it.

I carry a compressor and could just air up the spare if needed. But, that assumes it still holds air.

So, for not much money and a little time, I’ve an easy way to check and fill air in my spare.
