Tire Advice

We have a 2016 Classic. It came with Michelin LT 225/75/R16 Load range e tires. I would like to stay wit the Michelins. I understand that the Defender has been discontinued. What tire would all of you folks recommend. I would really appreciate your input.

I took delivery of a new 2021 Ford F250 last month. It came with Cooper Contitrac tires. They were equally terrible in rain or snow. The truck now has a new set of michelin agilis crossclimate, and I also had a set of the same tires mounted on new Sendel 16" wheels that I am going to put on my 25FC FB. I was originally going to go with the Goodyear Endurance for the AS, but in my experience the Michelin tires are enough better that I decided to go that route. I also like the small increase in ground clearance going from 15" to 16" on the AS.

Sorry...we only use ST tires. Currently GYE's.
We prefer a tire built for trailer use.

We use nothing but LT's. We just put a brand new set of Michelin RIBs on Lucy which replaced another set of Michelin LT's with 62,000 miles on them. We gave up on ST's many years ago after three catastrophic tire failures. After 140,000 miles on Michelin LT's, we have not had a single tire issue.

I agree completely on not running ST tires.Run LTs instead.
