Noobie help — metal valve stems

After reading all about TPMS, I am convinced I need them.
I own a 2019 25’ FC RBT.
How do I measure the valve stem so that I order the correct one? I plan on bringing them to the local Mavis, manager said no problem at $20 per tire.
I called Dill and they are no help at all.
Any help or insight is very much appreciated.

well.... You don't need them but they are a very good idea. Full disclosure I still have the rubber ones. But as long as you are replacing them get some TPMS integral stems. The cheap ones on ebay designed for trailers with a repeater is what I recommend, but me? I don't mind periodic fails. You can go with a top brand off amazon or e-trailer also. Anything designed for aluminum wheels will work if they are rated for 80 psi or more.

When the old stem is removed the HOLE in the wheel can be measured. But I’m betting they are .453” stems.

A good tire tech would break it down look at it and grab a replacement stem size by eye.

I would not expect Dill to know what size stem is required for an Airstream but if you called Dill and asked for metal stem choices for a .453” stem hole I bet they could rattle them off.
