Just completed 8,500 mile trip, last year a little over 10,000 miles all on Michelin 16" on a 30' AS FC. Run a TPS tire monitor system as well. No issues at all with the tires. I run them at 72# cold, in very hot weather at 65+ they will climb to 80-82 # and the side in the sun as hit 108 Degrees F. Unless someone convinces me there is something better I will buy these again. Also, not one rivet pop in the 18,500 miles.

Maybe it will just be a rebranding of a Marathon tire with the Endurance name. Could just be a marketing scheme. Seems like Michelin just did this with the LTX and Defender series tire. Not too much difference.
If the GY Endurance is an improved ST tire why not just call it a new and improved version of the the Marathon. Carlisle did this a few years ago with their "dura trail" technology stamped on their sidewall. This seemed to have helped their reliability just a tiny bit as mine are still holding up. The tires are into the third year so we will see. Whether they hold up I still don't want to purchase Chinese tires in the future.

Thanks again for starting this thread. We have not gotten new tires yet, and are still pursuing different leads. FYI the Jayco Owners forum has some recent comments on the Endurance ST but no new info.

If anyone has additional information on this new tire, please share.

PS -- Here is the link for the thread I just mentioned. Not positive that posting links to other forums is considered appropriate here.

http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f4...res-40103.html

No earth-shattering news but good to see that they are discussing the new Goodyear Endurance ST tire, given Jayco's decision to use it. As the product hits the road, maybe this will be a good source of further info..

Thanks for the link Peter. I'm planning our summer trip this year and am going to replace our Marathons before we leave in June. Our tires are now about 3 1/2 years old and about 18k miles

Hi guys;
You know that those Michelins are also made in US? Also, they come in 15" from Costco? Nothing against those who like GY.. If your on to this already, sorry for chiming in.

Well aware of the 15 Michelins however, I have a 20ft FC and the Michelins don't offer the weight ratings required for our single axel trailer.

I visited my local Goodyear store and inquired on the new Endurance they are back ordered with the tires likely available in March or April. Sounds like a good choice in as much you need not change to 16 inch wheels

So they make a 15" version? I've only seen the 16".

From the Good Year website.
http://https://corporate.goodyear.com/en-US/media/news/goodyear_launches_american_manufactured_trailer_ti re.html

I hope this tire is successful for the end users as well as Good Year. I may be trying some as this is could be a viable option.
It's not a very handsome tire, actually down right ugly but if it works I'm game.

Very interesting development. With all the negative opinions regarding the Marathons (not just here), maybe Goodyear decided to start with a clean slate. I wouldn't be surprised that they haven't taken notice of Airstream's and other heavy fifth wheel manufacturers use of the Michelin LT's. I wonder how many manufacturer's will move from Marathon's to this tire? Time will only tell if this truly is an "improved" ST, or will suffer from the same issues that I have found with ST tires in general which has been belt failures between year 3 and 4 of service.
