Best to get metal valve stems as the rubber ones will move with those sensors attached. I had my local tire shop swap mine out to metal a few years ago when I added TST sensors (non flow through).
I think TST mentions metal stems for their flow through sensors in the install manual.
They will rub on the wheels and eventually the stem will fail and let all the air out of the tire.
Keep in mind that the rubber ones can have a metal sleeve but these will not prevent the stem from moving and wearing.
I just had the metal stems removed and put the GM trailer sensors inside the wheels.
