Correct tire pressure
I have a 1996 airstream and it has 19.5 inch tires, the book says 65psi is what tires need to be inflated to, the place i got new tires said run them about 90 psi, the side of tire says 110 psi. I am confused and would appreciate any help one might offer
thank you

Jackson did some google research and ours are 15 not 19.5 and are at 65 but the info on yours appears that 90 is correct.

Is there a placard on your Airstream? That might be more definitive.

19.5
19.5 tire are not as flexible as a normal tire more of a truck tire,so require more air

Tire pressure and load weight go hand in hand. What is max load weight of tire at 110 psi, then knowing weight of trailer you can adjust psi for your application.

If you are using the original tire size as built use the stated pressure on the plate on the trailer. If you have changed tires size or rating use the manufactures inflation chart after you know the weight you are hauling.

Very few tire dealer will even know of this chart.

Thank you so much
there is so much to learn with the motorhome life, it is exciting but i am finding that it is wise to seek wisdom from others, as things can get real expensive fast

If sidewall says 110, then you should be close to that on your motorhome, you don't want to blow a steer tire, more air less heat and everyone is happy.
