Also , would love a small lift kit, the 31' as a long back end that could drag. I'm sure with new axles and say a 3" or so lift kit would make all the difference.
Any personal experience would be most appreciated !
Thx
Nick

Here are pics of mine after adding the new axles with the 32? degree down angle. I did a post on the swap out.

Nickclifford,

If memory is correct, the standard down angle is 22.5, can't remember the max you can go, but the pics from silverflames (32 down angle) appears it would give you the extra lift you're looking for but not making trailer to top heavy. What would be interesting would be a thread on "Show me your lift". Pictures of different trailers with different amounts of lift either through extra down angle or lift kits.

Enjoy,

Nick,

Based on the photo, I'd say your a little low compared to a new axle that would have come on that trailer. Regardless, my guess the axle rubber is hard and should be replaced anyway. Nrgtrakr has a good link to Andy's write-up on testing to see if they are good.i have to say, I had axles on two trailers that from looking at them they had the correct ride height, but both were shot. Really need to test to see if they still can flex.

Enjoy,
