Henschen no more?

I see that the domain name Henschenaxles.com is for sale. Are they still in business? And with purely innocent curiosity, what is the story and timeline of the Henschen - Dexter - Henschen - Dexter confusing changes of supplier for AS axles?

Henschen Axles is no longer. They were sold to another axle manufacturer, who was in turn purchased by Dexter.

Henschen was owned by an English Company.

Originally, they wanted to sell Henschen.

Later, they learned that they could make a better deal by selling the equipment and simply closing the company down, somehow creating a big discount on taxes.

The sales manager went to work for Axis. However, all Axis wanted him for was to pick his brain. After a short period of time, according to him, Axis made life miserable to the point that he quit.

The above information is from that sales manager, not me.

He then went to work for Dexter, working in product development.

Sadly, he took very ill and was forced to retire.
