Question Dexter axles - new to me information

Just got the Dexter axle PDF. It has:

For proper performance, all new axles should have the following checked at the
specified intervals:
• Wheel Nut Torque: at 10, 25, and 50 miles
• Brake Adjustment: at 200 and 3,000 miles

WHAT??? Our dealer never told us about this. Did yours?

You expect too much. Unfortunately.

My dealer told me about it in the walk-through.

The torque interval is specified in the manual:
Before each trip and any time a wheel is replaced, be
sure to tighten the wheel nuts, following the lug-pattern
sequence shown below. If the wheel was replaced,
check the torque every 5, 25, and 50 miles.
Also, according to Dexter (https://www.dexteraxle.com/Resources...nance-schedule), the brake adjustments don't apply to the Nev-R-Adjust brakes newer AS trailers have.

Wait.....we're supposed to read and adhere to our manual???? Does that apply to tow vehicles as well?
