Can I reuse my disk brakes

I have a 77 Sovereign needing axle replacements. The current axles have hyd/vac disc brakes that have been converted to hyd/elec. My thought are to buy the bare beam axles and reuse my current disc brakes and hubs.

My main thoughts are the disc brakes are better than electric so why not save $400 and retain the better stopping power.

I'm sure there are sides to this issue that I have not thought of so needing input as to if this is a good idea or not.

Thanks,
Kevin
