Axles for my '65 Globetrotter in Canada

Hi, I know this thread is a few years old, but I was wondering if anyone has found axles in canada?
I have a 65 globetrotter that needs them.

I had mine shipped to a Kinek point south of the border and picked them up there. Worked very well and I was quite happy.

Would buying them here be any cheaper? For example I've tried buying brake stuff like hydraulic actuators stuff from Standens in Calgary before, which was 15 minutes from me at the time. But even with overnight shipping from California it's still been considerably better to source south of the border for me. I'll be calling Colin Hyde for my next set of axles, I don't think I've seen a single complaint yet.

The freight and duty costs make shipping axles to Canada, very expensive.

It's far better to have them shipped to someone in the US and then picking them up from there.

Still, the cost of shipping depends on where you wished to have them shipped to.

There on one hand is a single shipping place and on the other hand, 20 different shipping places. Depends on the supplier.

Thanks for the help, we live 1000km north of the us border.. . There is a rv dealer closer to us(only 600km away) who sells air streams.. Would they be able to order us one in?

Also I do have friends traveling to Florida in November... I could ship it there and they offered to drive them back.. ?Just wish I could figure out some way of getting them this summer so we can install them this year...
