Axles Degree - 1972 Tradewind

I'm going to be ordering new axles for my 1972 Tradewind. When the axles were new, does anyone know the down degree that was used? Thanks.

The default down angle is 22.5 degrees.

If you're ordering directly from a non-Airstream-specific source like Redneck Trailer Supply, be sure to get the right measurements and bracket configuration.

Your trailer originally had 22 1/2 degree down angle, however you can opt for 32 degree if you want greater ground clearance. Virtually all of the axles we've supplied for 70's era Arirstream's have been built with Henschen type mounting brackets & shock brackets welded in place, so no drilling or welding is required.
Good luck,
Colin
