Axle Data Tag

I'm getting ready to replace the axles on our "78" Ambassador. I was told there is a data tag on the original axle. Where on the axle is this tag? Is it a metal plate? Thanks for the help!

No need for any info from that tag.

All you really need is the trailer serial number.

The tag is metal on the old axles on my trailer. Located on the rear side of the axle tube.
The nameplate on my '74 Argosy has the original axle ratings on it. Along with the VIN.
