Airstream Virgin needs a bit of help

Hello to all
I just got a 75 31' airstream T/T and i would like someone to look at my axles and give your best advice ... I'm in Salinas Ca thanks

Hard to say from the angle of your photo, but it looks like they are slightly "up," which is bad. Jack it up and see how much the swing arm swings down. Take a photo aligned with the axle tube towards the wheels, low, so the angle of the swing arms can be seen, both sitting loaded and jacked up.

George,

Come to the rally at Lake San Antonio in October and you'll probably find all the advice and commentary you'd like. Should be an easy trip for you. Just down the road a bit.

It appears that the torsions arms, as they go rearward, are going uphill.

If thats the case then the axles are "done".

Thanks for the reply - I just might go to the rally - My stream is still underconstruction - since im a newbie i got to make some friends to catch up with you folks on everything airstream --- so see ya there!! I should bring some Chees and Wine - George
