'65 Axle pictures

Hi all, just completed the axle replacement on my 65 Severing. After lots of research I finally settled on Axis Axles from Colin Hyde. Price and the axles being shipped complete were the deciding factor. I would have gone with Dexters from Uwe if the trailer would have been tow able. So I went with the 12" disc brake the axles are rated at 3500#. I had to drill 2 new holes on each side of the axles using an existing hole on the new axle just aft of the axle. They went up pretty easy for doing it all by myself. So 2 floor jacks, 2 bottle jacks 4 jack stands 2 wheel dollys numerous broken drill bits and lots of classic rock I got it done!! The only issue I have (or had) is the existing shock mounting bracket seems a bit short.
ENJOY!!
