Airstream switched over from leaf spring axles to torsion axles in 61 or 62.
For a short time after the switchover Airstream welded the axle to the vehicle.
That did not last long, and they changed to bolting in axles.
Even if the axle is bolted in, NOW would be the time to spray with penetrating oil.
