Considering replacing axles on my 2000 31' Excella. Currently the torsion arms are even with the frame. Has anyone had experience with the 45 degree arm angle? Would like to lift traile to avoid scraping on driveway approaches.

I think the axles I got from Inland RV are 32 degree and trailer sits a good three inches higher than it did. Trailer stocked but empty tanks and top of tires are even with the wheel well trim

I replaced the axle on my 6-meter Minuet with Dexter set at 45 degree down angle. I go places you really shouldn't take an Airstream and wanted the extra clearance. I tow between 2500 and 3000 miles a year and have had no issues. As mentioned 32 degree is the maximum recommended. YMMV

Web page https://spearfishcreek.net/ AIR# 3913 '77' Minuet 6 Metre, now behind a 1970 C10 with Equa-L-Zer hitch. I still have the Ruby but the 1970 rides much smoother.
I switched from 3200 pound axles with 10 inch brakes from original factory to 3500 pounds each with 12 inch brakes and increased the angle to 32°. This increased my ride height by about 1.5 inches.
It was perfect and towed like a dream. 1200 mile trip with no sway stabilization whatsoever, it stopped as good or better than the truck does by it self, we did not go over 60 - 65 mph which is maximum legal limit in most states.
