2018 Basecamp Axle Issue?

I have owned a 2018 Basecamp for 1 year and have used about 6 times. Total miles between 6,000-8,000 miles. The inside half of EACH tire on this single axle trailer are almost completely bald, while the outer half of each tire tread looks fantastic. I have heard that the Basecamp had an axle recall on earlier models. Has anyone else experienced this issue? To me this would indicate flex in the axle, however, Airstream is claiming it is an alignment issue and I must have hit a pothole. Unacceptable resolution. Looking for any insights or others experience if have had a similar issue. Thank you!

The recall was for the very first 2017 Basecamps, and involved a starting angle that could cause the tire to rub inside the wheelwell.
The tires wearing on the inside edge could be from alignment or overloading.
Even on most brand-new automobiles, alignment adjustment is not covered under warranty, and is considered the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
