1957 Hubs

We're new to Airstreams, but super excited about our recent purchase of a 1957 Overlander. In preparing to tow, and get ready for it's restoration, I've noticed the drum brake hubs are out of balance (with the wheels off). Bearings look fine, although grease seals are missing.
It is a 12x2 Dexter, with 6 lugs.
My thoughts were to replace the hubs, as well as the whole brake assemblies. Can I buy any 12x2 hubs from a trailer supply store, or what should I be looking for that will fit a '57? (!). All the AS parts websites don't seem to list anything that fits a 50's model.
Many thanks!

The trailer didn't have Dexter brake drums on it originally. They may have been Hadco. The originals were probably two part hubs.

The hubs you have now can most likely be replaced with modern hubs. I think you would just need to check the bearing sizes. If the bearings that fit your spindle matches the bores of the new hubs I think you are good.
