'15 Classic with Vesta Dishwasher
Took 4 hours to install. The Vesta is all stainless steel, uses less water than hand washing (we'll see), and uses only 7.5 amp. While it heats its own water, I elected to hook it up to the hot water line. Dishwasher is installed in wall next to stovetop, bulk of appliance is in the closet. Ran waste and water line through closet floor and hooked up to lines behind the stove. Very easy. 120V was already in closet as I'd put a Dyson rechargeable vacuum in there. The Vesta will hold a place setting for 6.

Shot inside the closet please. Did you need to move any of your previous space command/power control station?

I have a multifunction dishwasher. Uses less than 2 gallons of water.
She can also cook and has navigation skills.

MWD: I DARE you to show post #3 to my sister. I'll bet YOU will be doing dishes when we caravan together in August!!
Gary: I'll take a picture of the closet next time I'm out there. I didn't have to move any of my panel wiring, or relocate the panel itself. I basically lost hanging space on the left side of the closet, which I'd lost anyway due to my electrical setup. I'm sure other Classic owners would be horrified at loss of closet space, but we really only hand a few shirts and jackets in there. Everything else fits in the BR overhead, nightstand, and underbed roll-out drawer. After a total of around 45 days in it, we're pretty acclimated to the storage situation and really don't suffer from lack of places to put stuff. How about you?

Barry I'm thinking you don't have a big enough trailer. Where's the hot tub/jacuzzi and the wood burning fireplace gonna go?

I won't be washing any dishes. August is Official Paper Plate Month in Minnesota.
Except when you invite us over to your place for dinner. Then it's nothing but the good china. You wouldn't want to disrespect your sister.

We've been using it for more than a year and never an issue. I think it uses less water than handwashing, especially since we wait until it's pretty full. The only problem we had was forgetting to run it at the end of one of our trips. A couple of weeks later, I unlocked the trailer and found a strange, ripe odor. Unwashed dishes! Anyway, we won't make that mistake again. (Incidentally, having a dishwasher in an Airstream is quite a conversation piece....I copied the idea from my friends Rob and Katie!)
