I am actually considering installing a NuTone system in my 1955 home kitchen when I do the remodel.

A little history on this particular food center, my Dad purchased it when he built the house in late '58 to early '60, there wasn't enough countertop space in the kitchen so it sat in a closet until he expanded the indoor patio to include a wet bar in '68. That is where it is installed now.
I had to replace the powerhead assembly sometime in the mid eighties but kept all the attachments, I still have the original powerhead stored away in it's replacement box. The house was considered "Hi-tech" at the time, we also had a Nutone intercom and central vacuum system
My Dad was supremely proud of the house when he completed it, it features 6 bedrooms and 4 baths and is just about 6K sq./ft. under the roof.
Mahalo for your response!
