Thermostat repair or bulb replace

The thermostat on my 1973 Tradewind seems to prefer approximately -30 as the daily outside temperature. Is there a way to either recalibrate the thermometer or replace the bulb?
Thank you.

Brian.

Replace the complete thermostat, as the failure rate of the original, is about 99.9 percent.

It sounds like the unit is DOA. You could probably get a more modern, more reliable thermometer to go in the hole. I put an indoor-only thermometer in the hole where ours was, and re-used the cover and trim. That is, if you are talkiing about the thermometer and not the thermostat, you called it both things in your post.

Thank you. It is the thermometer and not the thermostat. Can I purchase a replacement unit?

Many stores cary household type thermometers, with a bulb.

That part was not an Airstream specific part.

Same is true with a matching clock.
