?????????

Are you replacing the original unit?
If so; it (the old AC unit) was wired to a thermostat that should already be in located in the trailer. Somewhere on the wall about shoulder high I would guess.
It should be a matter of disconnecting it from the old AC unit and connecting to the new AC unit.

Trying to upgrade from a 13.5k to a 15k unit and the new Dometic 15's all have remote thermostats... My broken 13.5 unit had ceiling controls, therefore no remote thermostat. But when I removed the old unit there is a pre-wire pigtail sitting idly in the cavity on the roof! Just don't know where those leads end in the trailer; surely nearby the couch or the dinette but I don't know! There is no thermostat currently on a wall anywhere...

I would check around any fixtures that are wall mounted or in the closets or pantry for the wire. While I don't have a remote thermostat for the AC, there is one for the furnace in the berthing area next to a reading light fixture. The Thermostat wire was pulled in along with the wires for the light fixture. I would expect that wherever the wire is, it won't be in the same space as the AC unit.
