replacing armstrong TR21-12
I have a 72 Globetrotter with the origional Armstrong 21-12 A/C unit that I am getting rid of. It has a new fan motor but the compressor is shot and there is a hole in the capillary tube. Everything else seems to work fine, I just have a free Coleman that I want to use in it's place. Anyone interested in buying, trading, parts, please let me know.

I have a 1964 Overland with a bad fan motor/selonoid. I wonder if these two share the same motor. I have been so busy on the interior, that I have not get the scaffolding set up for me to check the model on the AC.
If all holds true this weekend I will get up there and look the motor over.
Thanks,

The original 64 AC was Armstrong model TAC110.
Most of the parts are very different between those 2 models.

Thank you for the information. I spent most of the day working on my trailer, I have so much to do, learn, and fix. But when I am done, it will be mine.

I don't think it is the origional thermostat, it is a honeywell, spring type that mounts on the side of the overhead storage locker. If you think it might work, I will find out what model it is.

Can you possiably post a photo, and is it golden in color, mine was also the spring type, commonly used with that model Armstrong A/C.
