Replacing A/C shroud

I have a Dometic Penguin air conditioner/heat pump model #610015.405 and I need to find the correct replacement shroud. The old one on my unit does not have any holes on the street side for air flow. I'm seeing replacement shrouds with and without the holes and I'm not exactly sure if the additional holes are necessary.

I sent Dometic an email for their advice but have not hear back from them.

Thoughts/suggestions?

I believe that is a first generation penguin low profile 13.5k unit. The original design did not have venting holes in the shroud.

I would say not necessary.
