Removing Original A/C Unit '78 Argosy

Hello!

Have been fortunate enough to purchase a '78 Argosy 24' Twin from a friend for a song, and finally have a chance to get to work on it! It's pretty original across the board, and still has (what I believe) to be the original A/C unit - made by Coleman (makes me think it may be aftermarket). I really don't need A/C, and will be boondocking / using un-powered campgrounds for 90% of our use, so I have decided to pull it for now, maybe thing about repairing it down the road.

My question is this - If I pull it, will the opening be the standard vent size? I have pulled on other brands of campers and that has been the case. Found a very cool vent / fan / light combo that I would install in place of the AC unit. Thanks in advance!

Unless a previous owner did something funky the industry standard for A/C and vents (powered and non-powered) is the same at 14x14.

Original A/C was an Armstrong. You are better off replacing the Coleman than trying to repair.
