Real life Under Bench AC experience?

Hello Airstreamers,
We have a 1973 Argosy (22ft) and are looking for a non Rooftop AC solution. The trailer is currently gutted and benches have been built which are currently empty inside. Anyone successfully installed an under bench Air Conditioner such as Dometic Freshwell 3000 or Truma Sphir?

Can't find much info or examples in North America of people implementing these.
Cheers!

Speaking from the experience of having installed a few window units as slide outs (not those specific units you mention), ducting and inline fans are required to make an underbench (or bed) a/c an effective cooling solution.

edit: also, I have seen people install a/c with the "body" inside the trailer, but if you don't get the part of the unit that generates *heat* physically outside of the trailer, then you are effectively just wasting electricity by heating and cooling the same space.

Someone on the forum installed a mini-split. In current state of rebuild you might look at that option. You can install the “cassettes anywhere and run lines beneath the trailer like the propane lines.

Keep us posted
