Radiant heating

I put a Pro-Com 28000 btu raidiant heater in my 86' and have had no problems other then uneven heating. Pro-Coms have a low O2 detector, I also installed a co2 detector. My avarge Propane consumtion for Montana living is 40 gallons/ month. That's running everything, fridge, cook stove and hot water heater. The best part about it is the price the unit cost me less then $200 with shipping. Oh by the way, no venting required. Our little forced air unit couldn't heat the 20 below weather of Montana we had to do something diffrent.

Unfortunately I am still not quite at the point in my remodel where I can get serious about installing my radiant heating system.

In the meantime I would love to hear updates from any of the people who posted on this thread or any new readers about their experiences with hot water radiant heating systems for their Airstreams. How about it?

Where did you mount your Pro-Com heater in your MH? We'd love to install a vented propane fireplace in the MH behind the front passenger seat. We prefer to "camp" in cooler weather than hot but upgrading our furnace/heating system would be great also. a fireplace would add to the ambiance of "camping".

Does anyone know the name of the heater used to replace the Panel-Ray. The one that was in our '54 was gone but had an air intake hole in the floor beneath the radiant gas heater. This hole was screened and vented into the bottom of the heater itself;
