People never cease to amaze me

We have a 1994 34' Excella 1000 which we are in the process of restoring. This weekend, we noticed that water was dripping from the front of the frame, from a spot where there really shouldn't be any water. Lo and behold, we discovered that when we ran the A/C, the condensation had been routed by the previous owner to just fill up the belly pan, instead of draining it through the provided hole - in fact, they had stopped that up with plumber's putty! Needless to say, we fixed, and we think we may have solved the mystery of the musty smell we can't seem to shake!

I've stopped asking "how stupid can people be?", because they seem to be taking it as a challenge...

Very strange. But, like you say, some people just were not born with a natural IQ for things mechanical

The old engineering joke is "if you build something fool-proof, nature comes up with a better fool."

Sad but true....by actual experience.
