Optional heat setting

I know the optional heat setting is to take the chill out of the air and not actually a heater, but is it Ok to run it on that setting all night long if that's all the heat you need?

You bet. It is simply a resistance heater in the air handler. We use it all the time. Why not use the electricity you paid for with your campsite rental? We just run it all night and if it can't keep up, the furnace supplements.

The only downside is that it is ether "on" or "off" , if it gets too toasty, you have to get up and shut it off...
