Newer Atwood AC units

Does anyone have any experience with the newer Atwood units with the built-in thermostat and wireless remote?

I just bought the 13k yesterday but it's not installed yet. The reviews I read said it's quiet and moves as much air to be equivalent to 16k. Also it'll run on a 2000 watt generator.

We are looking at AC options at the moment and hoped to get some good info on the forum. How has your unit been holding up and has it indeed worked with the 2000 watt generator? Thanks much!

i doubt you will find any 2000 watt generator the will support an AC, convertor, frig, and other 110 volt items in your trailer.

Yes the generator does run the Atwood AC. I didn't have any other electrical draws when I was using the generator.
