coleman a/c drip pan
Look in the Dealer/Vendor forum for salvage yards. Also try a web search.

Most dealers will not get involved with second hand parts. Our judicial system, however unfairly, dictates a greater liability for selling used parts than it does for new parts.
It is far too costly to defend one's self on used parts. Scratches, dents, discoloration, tears or other imperfections, ALL, carry that liabilty. The only way around it is to get the buyer to sign a "hold harmless" agreement. But how can you get the buyer to do that when they can't see the item?
Bottom line, is that many good used parts are destroyed.

You can reshape them with some heat and a little patience.

Coleman AC Switch
Do you still have the Fubar'ed AC? I am looking for the control switch that has nine positions. My AC is a Coleman Supermach.
It appears that my switch has been replaced with a 4 position switch and does not match up to the faceplate which indicates that there are nine positions including the off position.
My AS is a 71 Overlander 27 feet
Thanks,
Ken

I will ask another A/C question. My fan on my Coleman puts out so much air it makes a geat deal of noise in the trailer. Anyone know of a way to lower the noise level.

Jim,
I assume your Coleman came equipped with a one speed switch. Keep in mind that it was designed for a minimum amount of air flow. You may find that you could freeze up the coils if the airflow drops below the minimum to keep enough warm air passing to keep the moisture in a liquid state as it collects on the coils.
I remember a problem I had with my old trailer with a new Duo-Therm Brisk air unit. It had a three speed fan and during my first trip the Destin Fla, the coils froze up. It ended up being a problem with the control board. The service guy who took care of me said that they do experience a lot of complaints about freeze ups in their area. In high humidty climates when the fans are dialed down to low you can freeze up even though these units are designed to run at lower speeds.
