New 15K BTU Purchase

Welp....it’s time to replace our Penguin 15,000 BTU front low profile AC/heat pump. Does anyone know where the best place to purchase a replacement would be? We are getting the Dometic Penguin II low profile (model 651815HXX1C0-0). Thank you.

I will be watching the response. Need to replace unit in the 1996 34'

Question: Will you be installing the "EasyStart 364" during the installation?

We currently have a Microair on the existing unit, so we will transfer it over to the new unit.

Price competition is an ever changing landscape via the web these days. At the moment, RV Parts Country is asking the lowest at $940.67 w/o shipping & tax for the 651815HXX1C0. It may be better elsewhere tomorrow :-)

I got the 15K heat pump version for $925 including ship & tax just two months ago so there is some volatility to seasonality. Home delivery vs a commercial drop-off location can also affect shipment pricing.

Thank you for the response SeeMore, that’s a great price. I ordered one (651816HXX1C0-01) from RV Parts Country over a week ago (Friday the 28th) and I am having an tough time getting information from them. You can’t get anyone one the phone unless you request they call you through their online correspondence interface. Hopefully I will get some good information regarding delivery on Monday. The price was $1,058 plus $150 shipping. Has anyone else dealt or had issues with RV Parts Country? Feeling a bit frustrated as a customer and there are a lot of disclaimers on their site regarding Dometic items.
