Mystery AC sound...

Our Airconditioner - when it is turned off, makes a continuous humming sound much like the sound of neon transformer. Nothing frying, just that hum. Does anyone know what that is? Hmmmm?

Every AC has a 24 volt AC transformer in it.

That's needed for the relays.

If you remove the trailer from city power, the hum will stop. That confirms what the noise is.

Doesn't hurt anything.
