Leak from air conditioner

Has anyone seen a leak like this? You can see the drip about to fall from the screw. The AC has been running for the past 8 hrs and just started dripping. I just sucked the drain line clear with a shop vac, not sure if that was the issue. This is the first time the AC has been used.

Fairly common for the drain line to clog due to dirt, leaves, bugs, ect.... and cause leaks inside similar to that. The leaks can also be caused by cracks in drip tray or cups (whichever you have) even just the drip cups shifting position.

He has a new trailer. It’s far too early for drain lines to get clogged, IMO.

It was parked on a slight hill while the AC was running, hitch was roughly 7” low. It seamed to stop dripping once I moved it.

That’s good, but I don’t think it should have leaked in any case.

I pulled the cover, nothing is visible from up top. You can’t visually see the drip pan...only the electronics, condenser & pump

I don’t know how much it is leaking, but it if it drips only occasionally it possibly might just be condensation.

I would think that would be too much of a drip rate to be condensation.

It was 90% humidity yesterday in Minneapolis. Still, I was thinking the same thing. That’s why I pulled the cover. I’ll send an email to Airstream...see if they have any ideas other than take it to a dealer.

Mud Daubers can build a nest in the drain line in a couple days.

I believe the newer trailers like yours would have the drip cups, they may be much more sensitive to being off level (same as being out of adjustment).
