Interior temperature never below 41 degrees

2023 30 Classic. Our front and rear thermostats never register below 41 degrees even when the outside temperature is in the low 20's. This is when the trailer is in storage connected to 30 amp power in "away" mode. The Alde is off and the only possible heat source in the trailer that I can think of is the router which certainly not keeping the trailer at 41 degrees. Has any one else noticed this.

Dave, could it be that’s the lower limit on those thermostats? Do you have an indoor thermometer that you could leave inside the trailer to see what the real temp is?

Or, perhaps there’s a chunk of uranium in there keeping your trailer warm!

Hope you find the answer.

Jeff I'm sure the temp is going below what the thermostat is showing I was just wondering if any one else had noticed this or if it might be an issue with my trailer. I suspect Airstream cheaped out on the thermostats. If you can remotely control the HVAC wouldn't it be nice to know the actual inside temp???

Turn on the Alde, and keep the heat/hot water functions off. See what it says as far as interior temp. We usually just use the Alde, and don't even look at the CZone. I assume you have CZone for HVAC control in your Classic 30?

We also have a small magnetic temp/humidity readout on the Norcold fridge. Yesterday morning when I checked on our Classic in outside storage, it was 30F inside.

Our thermostat doesn’t show the temperature inside the trailer. It only shows the setting of the thermostat. In other words, if the thermostat is set at 55, the number shown on the display is 55 regardless of whether it is warmer or colder inside the trailer.

Do you have tank heaters? The heaters in the Interstates are set to keep the tank temperatures at 40 degrees based on what it says in the owners materials. Maybe that is it?

I have the 23 classic 33, and as of late ive noticed that the Alde temp does not match the actual temp inside. I have to turn the Aldi interior temp to 80 degrees to get it to actual 72 on the Czone. Im sure its just a thermostat, or maybe the (2) temp sensors mounted inside the main cabin.

Doesn't your upper right button display the current temp in the Airstream? Mine all have that.

Does the manual supplied with the unit give the temperature indication features of the thermostat, including set-up, and temperature parameter's of the unit. If nothing else, a call to the manufacturer's tech line is often the best source of information.

I am going to have to check that. We have a replacement thermostat and it may be different.

I found the thermostat manual today. You are correct. Thanks!
