Identifying A/C Size

Thermostat placement on the fridge wall is problematic when the bathroom vent fan is operating. In the summer when that vent fan runs, the air conditioner will get triggered by the heat in the fridge enclosure. Likewise the inverse during heating season when excessive furnace run time occurs. I've yet to caulk the area where the thermostat wire passes though the wall on my Classic. I did do that on my Safari. To this day I don't understand why Airstream never has addressed this anomaly when they use the wall that houses the refrigerator as the thermostat location. It only takes a little squirt of caulk to seal that air leak point.

Typically there is a sticker somewhere inside the unit that is visible from the roof once the shroud is removed. Not sure why yours would be missing. I have a photo somewhere.

Not much practical difference between 13.5k and 15k. They are expensive and not much fun to replace. I would leave it alone if it works.
