heating options

What are the safe options for heating in a unit where the main furnace is non-functioning?

I'll be mostly boon docking, so without a steady supply of electricity unless I get a generator going. I doubt I'll be out much in the colder weather, but would like to know if there are safe portable options that can be used in a trailer once in a blue moon for cold nights.

Thanks

There are some propane space heaters. Check out Buddy Heaters: Mr. Heater - America's Most Popular Portable Heaters

Keyword being safe-get a carbon monoxide(CO) detector, propane detector and smoke alarm. If using ANY type of propane heater, leave a window open for a fresh air source.
