We're trying to restore our 1973 airstream which is in functional although not beautiful condition except that we found the Basotrol in the heater shot. We were told that these are no longer made... is there a source out there? If not, what do we do? Do we have to replace the entire unit? Ugh! If so, with what? We'd really love to find the part. Your help is critical. Thanks

That part has not been available for many years. Modifying the furnace with a part from a different furnace is a great risk to one's health. Unfortunately, the only thing that you can do is replace the furnace. A Suburban NT30SP works great, when it is installed as per Airstreams instructions. We have that furnace on sale on our web site, inlandrv.comAndy
