Furnace duct on 2004 34' classic slide out

Last winter I noticed a lot of warm air movement coming from under the kitchen sink. I thought maybe it's a nice feature to warm toes when washing dishes. But it's depleting the air flow in the ducts to the rear bedroom, hall and bathroom. Using my phone and camera I was able to determine that there is not a duct on one hole in the plenum. I don't mind a little bit of air there to help in the kitchen but any ideas on how to access that side of the furnace under the sink cabinet and at least partially plug that hole?
Thanks!

The open area under the sink is the air intake. There is a removable panel above the opening, at least on my trailer. Before you plug it up, get the installation instructions and check for minimum air flow requirements. If you restrict the air flow below the minimums, the furnace could overheat and create a fire hazard.

Are you sure a duct didn’t come off? It makes little sense to have an output and the inlet in the same location.

So far I have only done a minimal inspection using my flashlight and phone camera screen. I am not sure how to access the area to complete a more thorough evaluation.
Totally agree that it makes no sense for the duct to be open into the return air zone.

So here's what I'm seeing under the kitchen sink, I have poked around, pushed and prodded on all the panels and can't find a way to get into the compartment to see if a piece has fallen out of that opening. Pretty sure it's not supposed to be just open like that though.Click image for larger version
