Cool FREE: Armstrong TR21-12, w/ext. shroud, 4parts?

I listed this in the classifeds, but thought I'd mention it here too.

Armstrong A/C unit came off our '72 Sovereign. I believe it was the original unit. It was working when replaced. It does blow cold, there is no fan feature. It has a wall thermostat. It just wasn't doing the job for the 31ft AS. I believe it is a 12,500 btu. We replaced it with a Carrier Air V 15,000 btu.

If you want photos, email me and I can send a few.

Local pick-up only. Maybe someone wants it for parts to repair theirs. If no one wants it, then it will be thrown in the dumpster.

Thanks,

Mary

Chris,

I listed it as "local pick-up" only as it is well over 100 lbs, and very large. Shipping would be quite costly and I don't even know how I'd package it up in order to ship. It's much larger than our new Carrier, so I can't use the box it came in. If you have any good suggestions I'd be happy to entertain them. Too bad you are on the opposite coast.

Mary

I know you said local pick-up but I am only looking for the shroud. If it's not damaged or cracked, I would pay for shipping and also be willing to offer you some money too. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Mary.
I am interested in the shroud for the AC. I will be passing through San Dimas on next Monday, July 20th, and could pick it up if the price is right.
You can e-mail me at wo-dude@comcast.net.
Thanks!
Ed
