Easy Start Compatible with Dometic NXT?

I currently own a 27FB with the original Dometic Penguin 13.5k unit a/c which I know I'll be upgrading in the next couple years. Probably to a Dometic NXT 15k head pump.

Was wondering if I get a Micro Air Easy Start 366 installed on my Penguin this year, whether it will transfer and install to the new NXT A/C when I'm ready to upgrade?

I have the 366; do not try to install it on a newer Dometic, There really is just not enough room for the board in the electric box. I did it but it was a real challenge and fraught with peril. Just buy the 364 and do it right.

Hi Pteck. Yes, your EasyStart 366 is transferrable to any new rooftop A/C. All you have to do is re-initiate the 5-start learning process by following the jumper instructions in the user manual online. Although we do not know of any customers who have installed an EasyStart into the Dometic NXT model family, nor do we even know of anyone who owns one (which we find quite surprising!), both the EasyStart 366 and 364 are certainly compatible.

Thank you. That's the exact info I'm looking for.

Sounds like the 366 might take more work to fit into the more space efficient newer designs but I'm a glutten for punishment.

Would love to hear when someone's installed the easy start to the NXT model.
