Duo-therm/Penguin AC on 2010 no start. Capacitor?
I have a 2010 (or maybe it's 2011, I forget) 16' Bambi with the Penguin AC unit on the roof, and Duo-therm unit strapped to it inside the camper.
I had the AC off for 2-3 years, stored in my basement opting to use a "temporary" (ha) plexiglass window instead. I recently bought the auxiliary drip tray system (apparently the preferred method these days) and installed everything today.
When I turn the Duo-therm switch to fan/cool/etc, nothing happens. I turned the other knob from warm to cool and can hear a click at one point, then retried the fan/cool switch but still no noise at all, nothing happens.
I didn't have my voltmeter with me so couldn't verify AC was present but I have no reason to believe power wasn't available.
If the AC capacitor(s) / starters are bad, would these be the symptoms?
I've never used the AC. A quick inspection didn't show any signs of damage on the cap.
Should I just replace both caps and starter? Can anyone recommend a place that might stock these components?
