Dometic thermostat problem

I own a 2016, 20ft flying cloud. The thermostat will not run the Atwood heater. It works fine for the A/C and HP. I jumped out the thermostat at the heater and it ran okay. Does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum!

Have you performed the Dometic stat's hard reboot procedure in the mfg. manual that came with your Airstream paperwork?

"Dometic stat hard reboot" search results using the new search function in the blue box above:

https://www.google.com/search?q=dome...com&gws_rd=ssl

You could also flip all related 120-volt and 12-volt circuit breakers off/on, disconnect from and reconnect to shore power, and make sure the date and time are roughly correct in the stat's readout. Yes, sounds weird . . .

Good luck!

Peter

Is your fan set to "auto" or a manual (low, medium, high) setting? When trying to run the furnace, we have seen strange behavior if the fan is not set to "auto". The manual fan settings seem to only work with the AC/HP fan.

Have tried both. When fan is set to auto in furnace mode nothing happens, when it's set to low, med or high it kick in on HP mode but still says furnace.
