Angry Dometic A/C - 2018 Ducted - where's the bolts?

Hello!
We are on the road 500 miles from home in an RV park and our front A/C is apparently leaking freon. Needs to be replaced. After calling for 2 days, we finally found a tech who could drive a new Dometic A/C up to replace the bad one. He went up on the roof and found the first 2 bolts easily. The other 2 bolts are nowhere with easy access. He thinks they are behind one of the ceiling panels and he will have to remove the ceiling to access the other 2 bolts from the inside.

How can this be? If this A/C goes out again, there's just no way that you have to keep drilling out rivets to drop a ceiling panel to un-bolt it?

What are we missing? Please help.
Thank you,
Julie

More details - 2018 International Signature 25RBQ

We have a 2018 International Signature 25RBQ. Sorry, that may be important.

Just very frustrated, tired and hot.
Thank you to anyone who can help.

Hi

Give the fine folks at Jackson Center a call and see what they say. They most certainly know the answer.

We have a 2015FC, but I think the way the ac is installed could be just the same as the International. Here is roughly where the bolts are located in our trailer. Hope that helps.Click image for larger version

Thank you Bob and WanderingDuo. Your pics were 100% accurate. 2 of the bolts were covered over with so much silicone or sealant that they were "hiding".

We are now back to being Cool as a Cucumber.
I love this forum. ❤🙂

Hi

I do know that feeling of relief !!!!

We had a close call with getting a 50A breaker repaired yesterday. Fortunately the campground repair guys got right on it. We got back to 2 A/C's *before* the mid afternoon sun/heat came along.

Looks like the installation instructions would have told the service guy where to look. Anyway, glad you are cool now and no drilled rivets.
