Coleman Delta TX Air Conditioner

This a question for people that know more about how an Air conditioner works than I do (Everybody)

This Air Conditioner is installed on my Argosy travel trailer and it works perfectly. The compressor cycles nicely and it blows extremely cold.

The Question I have is about how the thermostat works. The coldest the air conditioner will get the trailer; with the thermostat set to the lowest is about 70 degrees and then it cycles off the compressor. I would like it to get down to about 65 for when there is a lot of traffic in and out the door. Is it cycling out to keep from freezing up? Is there an adjustment or a change I can make so I can hang meat in my trailer?

The unit is working so well that if there is no way to get it to adjust it colder, I will live with it.

Thank You for any information.

If it works that well...you may want to leave it alone.

If you must...replace the thermostat.

It cycles via return air temp.

Freezing is an indication of "low on freon".

Suggestion: clean the small filter daily.
