Atwood Sail Switch Part # ?

Hi,

I have a 2019 Flying Cloud with the Atwood AFMD25 furnace.

It failed to light this morning; fan starts and no ignition.

I can't figure out the part number as nothing matches the original attached below...

Any clues or replacement part numbers? None of the numbers on the switch match any internet searches. I'm off to a parts store now and hope to find but if not I'll have to order and want to get it right first time!

BTW it was pretty clogged with fur from my dog. Ya think it may be ok? I'm not gonna reuse unless I can't find and replacement so don't want to rebuild the furnace to check just yet!

Thanks!

TravisH,

Take a look here https://myrvworks.com/wp-content/upl...all-Manual.pdf and see if you can find or verify the part number for your model

TravisH,

If you cleaned the dog fur out chances are it will work. The easiest way to verify it's operation is with a multi-meter using the ohm or continuity function. If you don't have a multimeter when you move the sail you should hear a light click from the switch. Chances are it was clogged and not able to close the internal switch, I'd at least put it back together and try it while you wait for a new one.

Thanks everyone!

I found one on the shelf at a local RV supply. Part number 33082 is what seems to be an exact replacement. They printed the numbers which don't seem to matter, in very dark grey on black so just did a visual match and trusted the computer at the store.

Fired right up!

I have a Dinosaur Board as well but have learned if it aint broke don't fix it so will leave stock panel unless anyone can convince me to change out now. I'd only save 5 minutes so....

Thanks!

Trav!

Change in part number

I was looking for part number 33063 to my furnace in my 2021 International. I couldn't find that part number anywhere, so I asked the fountain of knowledge, "google", and found a reference that said that part number was changed to 33082.

Question: Do they change part numbers just F- with our brains?? What's in a number?

Glad to hear that dog hair was your cause. I haven't opened mine up yet but we do have a dog....
